From Corporate Sales to my Creative Calling

​

For over two decades, I built a career in corporate sales, eventually running a multi-million-pound business. Creativity wasn't something I thought I possessed. But everything shifted in 2025 when I moved into a home filled with vintage furniture, left behind by the previous owner. Moving from a sleek, modern new-build into a house brimming with character resonated with me immediately - I could feel the warmth and history embedded in those older pieces.​

In 2017 I attended a local workshop to try my hand at refinishing a single piece. What started as a weekend hobby quickly turned into a true passion. By 2019, I was selling my work on Etsy earning over 150 orders and dozens of 5-star reviews along the way.​

This year I took the ultimate leap: leaving corporate life behind to go full-time with my passion. Today, I spend my days wearing many hats, expanding into a larger studio, and doing the one thing I truly love - bringing classic furniture back to life.

 

A Collaborative Approach to Design

Nothing beats the feeling of a client falling in love with a piece made just for them. I take a collaborative, hands-on approach to every project, offering bespoke options from colour selection to custom finishes. Whether you are sourcing a single statement piece for a room or curating a collection for a boutique hotel, we design together from scratch.

Life Beyond the Studio

When I'm not in the workshop, you'll usually find me:

• Wandering around a local garden centre on a sunny afternoon

• Enjoying a rainy forest walk with my dog

• Unwinding by a roaring fire with my family for movie night

• Expanding my craft - I am currently taking an upholstery course to bring even more versatility to my pieces!
